Group 9's Field Work on 07-13-09

Is it a cultural difference, social problem, or just a personal issue?
On the way to the Pagoda park yesterday, our group noticed that no one actually smiled back at our camera but, more over, they seemd so full of anger and indifference except the foreigners we've met at the park, who even waved their hands at us. There's no doubt that we live in this hectic world dealing with continuing social, economic, and personal problems every day. However, don't you think that we tend to be so indifferent to each other? With no inner room for a quick smile to other? Or is it that people are too shy to share their emotions with strangers?
Or maybe our proposal to take random pictures of strangers was impolite from the beginning?
We have been trying to find and observe common Seoul citizens' faces and their unique styles.
Now we know what has been missing in them, an inner room for yourself and also for others, and we also know that you know what you should do to solve this problem.
